A Visit with Friends in Central PA

We wanted to take advantage of our eastern adventure to see our dear friends who moved to Washington D.C. last summer. Since we already had a couple other road trips planned in July and our vacation time was limited, Claire was game to meet us halfway to spare us some miles which left us in central PA. I spent hours surfing the internet for a destination location somewhere between Rochester and D.C. but turns out there just aren't a whole lot of vacation destinations in central PA! In the end we settled for a small college town with a hotel that was close to a waterpark/amusement park called Knoebel's. The park was quite something and the kids LOVED the waterpark. We love and miss our friends, until next time!
