Bring on the Cereal!

I had my first rice cereal this week. Yummy! At first I thought it was a facial mask, but later I discovered that it's not only good for the skin but also tastes pretty good too.
I caught on really quickly and by day 2 I was opening my mouth and gulping the cereal down just like my dad.I sit at the table like a big girl and eat with my parents. I am even patient enough to sit for about 10 minutes. If I had to describe the taste of rice cereal, I'd say that, "...mmm... a little citrus...maybe strawberry...passion fruit...and oh, there's just like the faintest soupcon of like asparagus and just a flutter of a, like nutty Edam cheese...." -Sideways

My new Tripp Trapp

I was tired of sitting on the floor while I watched my parents eat dinner, so they found a solution - sitting at the table with them in my own high chair! There is so much more to see when you sit at the table like a big girl. Maybe I'll eat some big girl food soon?
I just had my 4.5 month doctor's visit and I am very tall. I am 75% percentile for height and head and 35% percentile for my weight. Dad says I'm on my way to becoming a lean, mean, mountain bike climbing machine!

Waiting for Spring

I looked out the window today and what did I see? A robin staring right back at me! Hungry robin was eating berries off the neighbor's tree. Oops, I just spit milk all over me. That's OK, Mom doesn't mind doing endless laundry. Mom asked me what I wanted to wear, I told her that I did not really care. Tired of the pink, I put on blue and purple - check out my socks they're made of the SmartWool!I'm 18-weeks now it's hard to believe, below are pictures of me growing like a weed!

Playing in the Sink!

For the last week or so, I've been skipping my evening naps. Every other night a nice warm bath passes some time, but when it's not bath night my parents have come up with some creative ways of keeping me busy until bed time. One night, Mom filled the sink with water and it was my goal to kick all of the water out of the sink!

Elephant was my very first toy. Yeah, we're pretty great friends.
On weekdays I take my 2-hour morning nap on Mom. On the weekends, Dad likes to hold me instead. He teaches me about how to make good fantasy NASCAR driver selections, the art of eBay bidding, and safe online shopping.
