Today I had my 4th Birthday Party! We invited favorite friends Fiona, Annika, Acacia, Cecelia, Nicole & Samantha and their families and we all had a great time. It was a rainy day, but our new home accommodated all of our guests beautifully. We decorated cat-eye masks, played animal charades, ate cupcakes, and opened presents. Mom and Dad even put up the bounce house in their bedroom which was a hit for everyone!

Brother = Best Friend
This week my cousin Annie said, "having a brother is like having your best friend with you all the time."
We all think this is just so sweet. It is also timely as in the last week or so Nash and I have really started playing with each other (in short increments of time, of course). We've played beside each other for some time now but it's been so fun to actually play with Mr. Nash. Sometimes I even ask Momma to "go away!" so that Nash and I can hide from her. We hide in closets. We hide behind beds. We laugh.
(In the first video you can very faintly hear Nash refer to me as "Didder.")

14 Months and One Day
Remember when I took my first big leap to being a walking girl? It was New Years Day, and I was 14 months and one day old.
Not to be one-upped by his big sister, Mr. Nash decided today would be a good day to give walking a shot. At least, his first big day taking more than just a handful of steps. And he even did it enough times that Mom was able to catch it on film. Go Nash!

Art Projects
I've been really busy with art projects lately. Here is a picture of me with a
watercolor painting with rose petals glued on it. I love art and I love
to collect petals and leaves from the backyard to decorate my work. I do
LOTS and LOTS of projects at school too. Part of my preschool tuition
includes a "materials fee" and I do my best to get Mom and Dad's money's worth.
Every day I come home with piles of paper cutouts, metal insert
tracings, paintings, pencil pictures, crayon pictures.... you name it!
Notice how dark the background is in this next picture.... Mr. Nash's sleep cycles go in waves and the past few weeks we've been on an early ride. Rise n' shine at 6:00! Or how about 5:45?
