US Weekly

Dad was riding bikes with the guys tonight so we had our own girls night complete with gossip magazines. Mom and I were laughing so hard! (which explains the shaky cinematography....)

Beatin' the Drums

Last night Dad and I put on a concert! He is so much fun and always mixes things up. I love my Dad.

Guess what?! On Wednesday my first tooth (lower, front left) broke through my baby gums!

Miss Kitty

This week Miss Kitty vacationed at our house for a couple days. She was very little, only 8 lbs, and very sweet. She had the coolest toys! I was very jealous but fortunately she shared them with me. We chased her green mouse around the kitchen together!
Unfortunately Miss Kitty could only stay for a couple days because Dad turned out to be very allergic to her. It was sad to see her go, but we were happy to learn that Miss Kitty was adopted by her foster mom who had previously taken care of her. Thanks for visiting, Miss Kitty! Mom and Dad said that someday we will find the right kitty for our family again.

My New Pool

The past couple of weeks have been 95+ degrees, so we got a backyard pool to cool off on hot days. I love hanging out in the pool with Mom or Dad.
Here I am practicing my Sports Illustrated pose.....
And here I am half naked, Mom just couldn't resist.

Sun Valley, ID

This weekend we went to Sun Valley, ID to do some mountain biking. I decided that the mtn biking should probably wait for at least another year, but I rocked the jog stroller on the gorgeous greenbelt. Here I am showing my biking team spirit! On Saturday, Dad went for a ride with friends on the Prairie Lake to Minor Lake trail. Mom took me jogging in my jog stroller along the greenbelt that follows the Big Wood River. I took a nice hour-long nap so I don't remember much of it.On Sunday, Dad took me for a tour of downtown Ketchum. Meanwhile, Mom went out with the friends on a trail in the Adams Gulch area just outside of town. After the riding, Mom and Dad enjoyed a bite to eat on the deck of Lucky's while I took a nap in my stroller (it's exhausting touring in my stroller).

Southern Adirondacks

While we were in NY, we met Uncle Steve, Aunt Janelle, and cousins Calleigh and Luke from Boston in the Southern Adirondacks. We stayed at a camp on Caroga Lake.
It was very rainy when we were there, so I watched everyone play games like Rummy, Catch Phrase, and Doodle Dice. Dad even played a second variation of Doodle Dice with cousin Luke. Luke's version made it quite difficult for Dad to win...
One day we hiked to Nine Cornered Lake. It was a bit wet but I was happy and warm in my front carrier while everyone else was "pigging" in the mud.
Finally the sun came out and we went to the lake. Dad made a cool drip castle after he swam with Uncle Steve and cousins Calleigh and Luke.
The sound of the waves crashing on the shore put me right out..... I was cool as a cucumber in my hat and shades.Uncle Steve and Aunt Janelle

No, it isn't cold! ;-)

Rochester, NY

For the week of July 4th, we took a "jet plane" to Rochester, NY to see Grammy, Bompa, Uncle Mike, Aunt Michelle, and my cousins Annie and Emerson. It was my first ride on a plane and I enjoyed walking the aisle with my mom and dad on the first flight, and the second flight went really quickly because I ate the entire time. Flying is much easier than long car trips.

Grammy arranged two very big parties with family and I met so many people for the first time.

I met my Great Grandma DeClerck
I met my Great Gram
I met my Great Aunt Melinda. And MANY other Great Aunts and Uncles!

I made myself comfortable for this photo session.I was much smaller the last time Grammy saw me. I was only 8 weeks old the last time! Now I'm a real handful. One day we went to the Rochester zoo. We saw elephants, otters, mountain lions, tigers, polar bears, monkeys, and even a sea lion said hello to me in the picture below.
Another day, we all went to the beach along Lake Ontario. I had never been on a beach before and my parents had to make sure that I didn't eat too much sand. Check out my toes!
Emerson and Bompa made a really neat sand castle. I would have eaten the entire thing if my parents weren't looking. How many Buffalo Bills hats can you spot in this photo?
Dad took me for a walk on the pier with Uncle Mike. Some people were catching fish and they were really smelly.
Bompa played his guitar for me and I was fascinated and tried playing a few chords myself!

We had such a great time in Rochester with Grammy, Bompa, Uncle Mike, Aunt Michelle, and my cousins - I can't wait to come back again!
