Pinkalicious

I wowed Gramma and Grandpa with my storytelling skillz in Big Sky, so tonight Mom and Dad thought it would be a good idea to try to capture something on film for the rest of the family. Here I am reading a chapter of my latest favorite book - Pinkalicious - which is a 188 page collection of stories. Once again, I shined on film and melted their hearts.

(As a side note from Mom, for those not familiar with the story what she read was for the most part word-for-word. There were only a couple pages where she stumbled but did an equally remarkable job ad-libbing so that it's hardly recognizable to the listener.)

A Beautiful Week in Big Sky

We had a lovely week in Big Sky with Gramma and Grandpa. Mom and Dad were excited to see some afternoon mountain thunderstorms like we usually have, but to their dismay we had sunshine the entire time. Damn!

We had lots of pool time which was great to practice all my new swim skillz. I started the week needing to hold someone's hand while I jumped in and ended the week eagerly launching myself into the pool. Mr. Nash is an adrenaline junkie and had no problem launching himself into the pool. Note to Mom and Dad - going to need to get this kid signed up for swim lessons too!

It was a wonderful week and when asked what my favorite part of the trip was, I responded by saying, "playing games." Safe to say I enjoy playing cards just as much as my grandparents do.

Celebrating Nash's b-day with chocolate cake...
Showing off my speed while Nash practices with his new ride...
Puddle jumping...
Rowing..... A good Samaritan even rescued Gramma and pulled her back to shore!
We toured MSU and I rode illegal bike trails just like Dad did in college. Visiting college was exhausting for Mr. Nash. Fortunately we recharged at the Pickle Barrel.
Picnic on the Lawn at the Emerson Center in Bozeman, complete with a live band and other kids games.
Mom and Dad went golfing with Grandpa.
I did Zumba with some other condo guests.
And last of all we did bungee trampolining at Lone Mountain. I even did several backflips! Initially it was just going to be Mom and I, but as Mr. Nash saw us working our way up through the line he decided that he wanted a shot at it too. The trampoline staff agreed despite the 40 lb minimum weight limit because his booty was big enough for the harness. He hopped up there with no reservations, got strapped in, and enjoyed all the help from the trampoline assistant pulling him down (because he was on the light side) and then shooting back up into the air. Definitely a highlight of the trip!
