A Visit with Grandpa and Gramma

Last week Gramma and Grandpa stopped in to visit for a few days. As always, I had a lot of fun playing with them. As you can see Nash and Grandpa have a lot in common. They both love snacks! And I must say that I am thankful for "special treats" like blonde brownies and chocolate cake as well. ;-)

Lunchtime Work

Last week I sneaked into Daddy's office and did a little bit of work over lunch. When he returned to work after lunch he found my handiwork on his daily to-do list. Check out the bottom of this page. I wrote my name all by myself without even having a template to copy it from. Not bad for someone who hasn't yet been taught how to write! Before you know it I'll be writing "Nash" since Reese & Nash are the only two words that I know how to spell.

Streaker

Today Mom attempted to take an artsy picture of Mr. Nash on the hardwood floors - inspired by a pose of a friends baby whose portrait was taken by her mother who is a professional photographer. Mom failed miserably and was reminded that she is just a rookie. The photo shoot was also complicated by the fact that Mr. Nash does not belly crawl and is FAST. Happy 10-month birthday Baby Nash!

On the Move

Mr. Nash is on the move! He decided to skip the army crawl and move straight to crawling on all fours. Do you remember my mad army crawling skillz when I was this age?

A Visit from the Cross Country Crew

We had planned to meet Uncle Mike, Aunt Michelle, Annie and Emerson for a camping adventure in Bend, OR over Memorial Day weekend, but due to some crummy weather they decided to tweak their cross-country route and visit us in our new house in Boise instead. Mom and Dad were so grateful for their change and we were all toasty in our beds at home.

I had an amazing time with Annie and Emerson. We played, and played, and played, and played..... We played restaurant, hide-and-seek, horses, bounce house, watched Rio for special movie night, had slumber parties, went to the zoo, went to the park, and even had pizza dinner at "downtown urban baby." I received a very special gift - a skirt that was just like Annie's - and I wore it almost every day just so I could be twins with Annie. I put on a brave face when it was time for them to leave and smiled and happily waved, but when we went inside it hit me that they were gone and I broke down in tears. It is just so hard to say goodbye to my cousins who I love so much. Thank you Annie and Emerson for visiting and playing with me!

Last Days on Battlement

We've been so busy with the move that I haven't had a chance to update my blog much. I just downloaded some videos of Nash and I playing at our old house on W Battlement Dr that I wanted to share. So many fun memories.
